PARASAIYO
Parasaiyo is a group of young professionals working on fundraising events in Japan to support Pilipino orphans to go to colleges.<activity> We organize charity events in Japan such as Gospel concert, Marathon event, Christmas parties and flea markets, raising about 5 million JPY a year to fund the children's schooling to open the door to their better future. We also collect charitable materials. Besides fundraising events, we annually visit the orphanage located in outskirts of Manila. We play sports, drama, or enjoy singing and dancing to spend time with the children to share the laughter and love. Funds and charitable goods are donated at the time to support children's study and management of the orphanage.
<philosophy> What we are doing is so called volunteer activity, to broaden the opportunity of Pilipino children. However, what we want to achieve is to create a cycle of good will---that is, we enjoy doing this for fun, and by sharing its joy of giving with participants of charity events, we hope to make the concept of "volunteer" to be something more casual and natural..and fun.
