The Tyler Foundation

The Tyler Foundation

The Tyler Foundation is a Japan-based nonprofit organization supporting children with cancer and their families in Japan.

For kids in hospital…a visit with a favorite cartoon character can help them to smile all week long.
For parents…being able to stay close by the hospital at a reasonable cost, gives them one less thing to worry about.
For some cancer patients…finding a matching bone marrow donor or cord blood can mean a cure.
From helping families find counseling, to providing grants for life-saving research… the Tyler Foundation will make a difference.

Making life better for kids while they’re fighting cancer…
Improving the odds that they will win their fight!
Shine on!

YMCA Children's Community Fund

YMCA Children's Community Fund

Established in 1844 in London, England, the YMCA today is a non-profit organization helping the development of people of all ages in 123 countries. There are over 200 YMCA sites throughout Japan, many of which have special facilities to support the mentally and physically challenged.

The YMCA Foreign Community Supporting Committee (FCSC) was established in 1958 to raise financial and moral support for YMCA activities across the country. Our Honorary Chairmen, the Ambassadors of Australia, Canada, the Czech Republic, Germany, France, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States, work together with a regular committee of members of the international business community on annual fund-raising activities.

For over four decades, proceeds raised by the YMCA/FCSC have enabled the growth and expansion of YMCA programs nation-wide, particularly those for mentally and physically challenged youth and leadership development.
